There may be a few future race~car designers getting their start in Cresco tomorrow.
The Northeast Iowa Community College Cresco Center is offering Build & Paint Your Own Race Car on Tuesday, September 22, as part of its fall youth programming.
And really, what kid doesn’t like the idea of creating a race car of their very own?
The program gives area youngsters a chance to put their creativity to work with a project they can build and paint themselves. It’s the kind of hands~on activity that can turn an ordinary day into something a child remembers, especially when they get to step back afterward and say, “I made that!”
It’s also part of a larger lineup of children’s activities coming to the Cresco Center this fall. NICC has Pumpkin Painting & Decorating scheduled for October 8, Kids in the Kitchen: Halloween Cookie Decorating on October 22 and Fall Canvas Painting for Kids on November 3.
The Cresco Center is located at 1020 2nd Avenue SE in Cresco. Families interested in tomorrow’s race-car activity can contact the center at 563~562~3263, ext. 4700 for availability and registration information.
Sometimes learning doesn’t need a textbook.
Sometimes it just needs a little imagination, some paint ~ and four wheels ready to race. 🏎️❤️
