LANSING, Iowa ~ Music, worship, family fun and a good cause will come together in Northeast Iowa this September when Worship in the Valley returns to Village Creek Bible Camp in Lansing.
The 2026 event is scheduled for Sunday, September 20, with Christian music duo Caleb & John set to take the stage at 7:00 p.m.
According to event information shared by Worship in the Valley, this year’s gathering will be free to attend, with guests invited to make a free-will donation at the gate.
Those donations will help support the Village Creek Bible Camp Scholarship Fund, which assists children who might otherwise be unable to attend camp because of financial hardship.
That mission is also reflected on Village Creek Bible Camp’s own website, which states that scholarships are available for qualifying campers and emphasizes the goal of helping children have the opportunity to experience camp.
Organizers say the Worship in the Valley committee works throughout the year to raise funds to put the event on, allowing proceeds from admission donations and food sales to benefit the scholarship effort.
This year’s schedule begins with doors opening at 5:00 p.m., followed by opening act Dustin & Emily Wirth at 6:15 p.m. and Caleb & John at 7:00 p.m.
The event poster also notes that free pony rides and hay rides will be offered before the show, with food and drinks available on site.
