WAUKON, IOWA ~ There’s a pumpkin hunt underway in Waukon.
But finding the pumpkins is only half the challenge.
Goodfella’s Bar ~ The Great Pumpkin Hunt is underway through October 17, giving folks a little extra reason to keep their eyes open this fall.
Each hidden pumpkin contains a letter.
The challenge?
Find the pumpkins, collect the letters and then unscramble them to reveal a secret fall phrase. Those who solve it can turn in their answer for a chance to win a Goodfella’s gift card.
And unlike an event that gives you only an hour or two to participate, this hunt gives you some time.
The Great Pumpkin Hunt began October 1 and continues through October 17, with the drawing scheduled for 6 p.m. on October 17. Goodfella’s Bar is located at 29 West Main Street in Waukon.
It’s simple.
It’s a little mysterious.
And it might just have you paying a little closer attention to what’s around you.
Because one of those hidden pumpkins could be holding the very letter you need. 🎃👀
